May 2024 Art Exhibit
Paintings & Collages
by Debra Friedkin
Artist’s Statement
I have been experiencing an artistic renaissance over the last four years, directly related to my cancer journey.
These paintings and mixed media collages reflect an outpouring of emotions that illustrate body systems at war and peace during my recovery.
Materials used were acrylic paints, found paper clippings, wax pencils, ink, and graphite
Reception: Saturday, May 11th from 2 to 4 PM
