Roleplaying Games

Interested in playing Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, or any of the countless other tabletop roleplaying games out there? All you need is something to write with, one or more of the rulebooks we have available to check out, and a set of dice. With that in mind, the Irvington Public Library now has a selection of polyhedral dice sets available to borrow with your library card—so all that you need to start adventuring is your library card and your imagination! Stop by our Circulation Desk with your library card or phone with the WLS Mobile app and ask for one of the sets, and you can bring them home with you for up to three weeks!

Please note that the dice sets cannot be placed on hold or renewed and must be returned to the Irvington Public Library within 21 days. Need a set of dice for a bit longer? Simply return the dice you already checked out and ask for one of the other sets. We have six different solid color sets to start with, including a convenient carrying case with a guide to the contents of the set, and a zippered pouch so that you can return the set in our outdoor book drop just in case the Library isn’t open when you stop by.
